Teri A. Walter (Billings)
Ms. Walter, a partner with the firm, advises and represents clients in litigation matters involving employment law, worker safety, workplace tort claims, and insurance defense. In her employment practice, she assists employers with management of personnel issues, drafting personnel policies, hiring and terminations, and implementation of reductions in force. She also conducts management training seminars for large and small businesses. Teri litigates wrongful discharge and discrimination claims, wage and hour issues, and safety compliance.
Teri represents clients before all state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She is an active member of the Montana State Bar, the First Judicial District Bar Association, the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Montana Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for Montana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Teri manages the firm’s branch office in Billings, Montana, and divides her time between Billings and Helena. Teri is a native of Montana and was raised on a ranch in Custer, Montana. She is actively involved in the Billings community and serves on the fundraising committee for Family Services, Inc.
