Roland D. Graham (Helena) Mr. Graham, affiliated with the firm as Of Counsel, continues his practice after more than 50 years as a practicing attorney in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin. “Rollie” joined the firm after serving as a corporate counsel and senior executive for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis for approximately 20 years, and corporate counsel for a major Wisconsin-based bank holding company. In private practice, he has represented both financial institutions and nonbank financial service companies, and other corporate clients. For many years he served as a member of the Federal Reserve System legal committee responsible for payments law including a tenure as its chairman.

He has represented clients in the formation, reorganization, acquisition, and/or merger of banks, bank holding companies, thrifts and other financial institutions, and has acted as corporate and regulatory counsel for bank and nonbank financial institutions in the resolution of supervisory matters before Federal and State regulatory agencies. During his tenure with the Federal Reserve System, he gained considerable experience in the operation and regulation of check, electronic and other payment related services which provided the background for the representation of private sector clients engaged in payment services. He has participated in the structuring, documentation, and administration of commercial, and consumer loans for botyh bank and nonbank lenders, including loan workouts and litigation support for problem credits. His experience extends to general corporate, business, and real estate matters as well.

In addition to his business and law degrees from the University of Minnesota, Mr. Graham is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. He was admitted and licensed a member of the Montana State Bar in 2002 after active membership with the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Bars for 43 years. He is admitted to practice before the Montana Supreme Court, Montana State District Courts, and U.S. District Courts in Montana and Minnesota.

He is a member of the America Bar Association, its Business Law Section, and a former member of Robert Morris Associates, a national association of commercial bank lenders. He is an active Rotarian through membership in the Helena, Montana Rotary Club after membership in the Minneapolis, Minnesota Rotary Club for 14 years.
